Right now this site is just information. No sign-up forms, no accounts, no contest submissions. If that changes, this page changes.

 

What we collect​

Almost nothing directly. The site is hosted on Wix, which sets standard cookies so pages load properly and gives us basic anonymous analytics (pages viewed, general country, device type). None of that is used to build advertising profiles or sold to anyone.

 

If a page here embeds a YouTube video, YouTube sets its own cookies when you play it. That's governed by YouTube's privacy policy.

 

Links out to press coverage, partners, or other sites are just that: links. Once you click through, you're on their turf and their privacy practices apply.

If you have a privacy question, or want to know what (if anything) we have on file, email [dan@blastoffstation.ca].

 

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA) you can ask what's on file, ask us to fix or delete it, and file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) if you're not satisfied with our answer.

When we add forms, a newsletter, or contest submissions, we'll rewrite this page and update the date at the top.
